During the final showcase, our team received the HCDE Capstone Award 2022 for Innovation and Willingness to Take Risks.
After the showcase, I conducted usability testing with 15 participants who are interested in XR and received 80% potential adoption rate of the physical space along with the digital website.

β© Next Step
If this is a real business case, I would engage more with stakeholders to align project goals with their business objectives. Define clear KPIs and success metrics that directly contribute to increasing awareness and demand for XR products.
βοΈ Lessons Learned
π£οΈ Keep talking to more (and more) people when itβs an exploratory stage
Conducting more than 15 interviews with both experts and stakeholders, I found it extremely insightful to talk to people with different levels of experience in XR. The findings were invaluable in understanding the challenges and opportunities within the XR landscape and shaping our design approach.
π Donβt forget to think about accessibility when designing for all
As I reflect on this project, it hits me: always weave in accessibility. Thinking about diverse needs is not an extra step but actually is the essence of user-friendly design. In our journey, itβs not just a checkbox. Itβs about crafting something that everyone can effortlessly embrace.
